I'll wait 'til I'm more confident at spinning before I get adventurous with my plying.Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04022430264856651436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34481293.post-81332573289191044532009-04-01T05:55:00.000-07:002009-04-01T05:55:00.000-07:00Wow. I haven't even attempted navajo plying yet and although I do love the way it looks.. that 'takes 1.5 times singles' to get you there... one of these days.<BR/>XOXMariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01500636360349398921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34481293.post-76414743094482474392009-03-31T23:44:00.000-07:002009-03-31T23:44:00.000-07:00I've always loved navajo plying. It's more labour-intensive for me, though, because somehow I've not managed to develop a smooth enough action to be able to keep the wheel spinning (I let the wheel stop while I pull the next bit through) and you have to spin more single yarn (1.5 times as much). It's perfect for the roving your freind sent you and the skein you've made looks great.peahenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395503525006623752noreply@blogger.com
